Help keep our programs strong during COVID-19.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, The Outlet has been working to make sure our youth programs remain intact.

We have moved our Mentorship Program online. Youth are now able to continue connecting with their mentors and preparing for their future several times throughout the week via audio/visual technology. Youth and their mentors are currently working through a 4-week evidence-based College Readiness curriculum. These online mentorship sessions help provide a much needed routine to our boys daily lives during a time that can be isolating. It also helps continue the progress toward the goals the boys laid out this January.

Additionally, youth are now receiving meals through The Outlet's Drop-Off Meal Program. Because youth rely on our organization for their evening meals, twice each week, a volunteer drops off a meal package for our youth and their families.

Please help us keep our programs strong during these times of uncertainty.

If you would like to donate food or supplies, please contact Jenni Gardner at office@theoutletillinois.org to coordinate a drop-off time. Our address is 2525 S. 12th St. in Springfield.

Thank you!
